The 16th biennial Extractive Industry Geology Conference - organised by geo-professionals working within the non-petroleum extractive industry - will include papers on the following themes:

• Mineral reserve and resource assessments;
• Geo-hazards and geological disasters in the extractive industries;
• Research and innovation in the UK extractive industries;
• Energy and carbon footprint issues in the UK minerals industry;
• Regulatory burden on the UK extractive industries; and
• Military geology.
